Prioritizing funds and resources for educators

I want to work in partnership with OCEA and the Teamsters to build a competitive compensation package that values all educators and staff. 

In addition, I want to work to improve employee healthcare by looking at creative ways to access more providers and satellite office locations across the county. Doing this will allow us to offer more hours and/or services to better reach the needs of our employees.

The health and happiness of our teachers and staff are important and meeting them where they are at is key.

Creating a positive work environment

I want to expand our listening sessions in order to hear the needs of teachers and staff. I promise to spend time in schools and departments each and every week.

As a former educator, being in our schools is something I’m familiar with and enjoy. I know engrossing myself in your workplaces will ensure I better understand how I can help create a place you love coming to every single day.
